Artist / AI Video Director

AURORA AURA is a Japan-based artist, AI art director, and AI video director. She specializes in designing artistic visuals and creating immersive videos, both using AI.

She began her professional career as a graphic designer at a video production company in Germany before returning to Japan, where she worked as an illustrator. Her diverse portfolio includes book cover illustrations, TV show character designs, collaborations with apparel brands, and stage set designs. In 2014, she expanded her practice as a contemporary artist, launching interactive installations and VR-driven works that have been showcased globally, including in London, New York, Miami, and Brussels. Since 2023, she has incorporated generative AI into her creative process. Focusing primarily on AI video production, her works are screened and exhibited worldwide, and she continues to engage in a wide range of creative projects across commercial industries. In May 2026, she planned and produced the videos for "SOLARIS BREATH -Particles of Light and a Single Breath-," Japan's very first planetarium screening event dedicated to long-form AI-generated video.
